Launch of the GMU Quantum Materials Center
The creation of the QMC launches a new research area for GMU in the discovery and utilization of quantum materials in technology.
The NSF-funded PARADIM program will allow us to synthesize transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers, specifically molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) monolayers with the recipe developed by the Jiwoong Park group formerly at Cornell and currently at University of Chicago at no cost.
